  • Abstract
We propose the implementation of a dynamic decision-aid method for the assembly process design. The resemblance between objects is established on functional properties, therefore on complex properties. The resemblance is established upon high abstraction level properties easy to link with assembly proceedings. The method we propose is adapted both to constraints linked to resemblance nature and to the electric beam assembly posed problem. This method presents several advantages. First, it presents a formalized but flexible frame which allows decision guidance. It also allows one to deal with all the criteria that can be grouped in equivalence classes, and with their classification. Next, all the criteria are used for comparison. Further more, the comparison takes interactions between equivalence classes into account. This method allows one to examine the whole retrieval space. In addition, these rules are liable to rationalize some operations that a person confronted with a choice realizes. Finally, the qualitative echelon used allows the method to admit some imprecisions about the data
