Abstract
The acoustic sound level caused as secondary effect during the electrical energy conversion is often perceived as an unwelcome noise emitted into the enclosing surrounding. In order to verify design aspects for reducing such undesirable noise emission suggested combinations of novel motor topologies are analyzed.
