Abstract :
Internal rate of return is an important indicator to evaluate the financial profitability and feasibility of the project. Currently, the prevailing algorithm is to use linear interpolation to approximate its value, but it will take large amount of calculation and low accuracy. Therefore, the article introduces the dichotomy to achieve fast convergence of estimated range and further completes the final operation with the computer technology programming. The actual shows that internal rate of return calculation based on dichotomy and computer technology is simple, effective, and high accuracy.
