Abstract :
In this paper there is presented a way of determining and registering the instantaneous power, p(t), in an diagram, for two asynchronous micromotors. These were activated by two phase voltages having the rectangular waveform with pulse width modulation, PWM, and triangular, with variable asymmetry factor, respectively. The deviation from the sinusoidal form of the phase voltage determines not only the increasing in the iron core losses, for the stator, especially in the zone of the stator teeth, as well as the deformation of the waveforms. From the analysis of the p(t) diagrams there can be drawn conclusions referring to the total magnetic losses, in the stator of the asynchronous micromachines.
