  • Abstract
    Block based motion estimation is widely used for exploiting temporal correlation within an image. This paper briefly describes the block-matching motion estimation principle, then based on the template for the Campaign to improve the efficiency of motion estimation algorithms were discussed in detail. It will be shown that the new algorithm is not only much faster than traditional algorithms, but in some cases can achieve much better visual quality, And simulation experiments show that the new algorithm has better image quality and speed of the search advantage.
