Abstract
This paper presents the influence of different inductances at direct and quadrature axes, Ld and Lq, providing an additional torque known as reluctance torque, on the electromagnetic torque of the interior permanent magnet synchronous motors (IPMSM), looking for higher performance than high efficiency three-phase induction motor drive.
