Verification of Environmental Kuznets Curve between AG-NSP and Rural Netincome - Evidence from Zhejiang Province of China

I calculated the total pollutant emissions of livestock manure and rural life in Zhejiang province in China from 1990 to 2009,, which are important non-point source pollution source in agriculture ,by using method of emission coefficient. I explored the relationship between rural net income and rural environmental quality of Zhejiang province with the Environmental Kuznets Curve (EKC) model. The results displayed that there is no significant correlation between rural pollution and per capita net income of rural residents in Zhejiang province, which means it doesn´t well agree with EKC curve. This study argued that some other factors may have a great influence on relationship of them.
