Abstract :
H.264/AVC is a novel video coding standard that provides better coding efficiency than previous video coding standards. In this paper, we propose a new error resilience scheme using a reversible data embedding technique based on H.264/AVC. The advantage of reversible data embedding is that it is lossless; the decoded video quality will be the same as the original video quality if the transmission is error free. Simulation results demonstrate the proposed scheme out beats current existing techniques on robustness and quality.
