Social media adoption model for smart entrepreneur

The explosion of emerging startup company in business area cause a high competition to meet customers´ need and become suprime. On the other hand, align with the development of ICT, customers who face the flood information still have an eager to be listened. Therefore, business starters must wisely plans their strategies in choosing and using those technologies to fulfill their needs. This paper focuses on social media as one of the major tool in community engagement, also increase the number of product selling. The main question is how each factor in startup company can affect the social media adoption model as a strategic innovation in their company. Theoretically, this paper explores some literatures that are related to technology adoption, social media, and startup company as smart entrepreneur. We also prepare an analysis about some factors to support our recommendation regarding to this issue. Furthermore, we suggest a social media adoption model as our contribution to startup company towards smart entrepreneur for a progressive business climate.
