Research on the Establishment of Xi´an Advanced Public Transport System

In order to resolve the problems about public transport in Xi´an, this paper pointed out an effective way to establish an Advanced Public Transport System(APTS) which adapt to the development of Xi´an urban transportation based on the theory of APTS. Then a framework about Xi´an APTS was put forward. It particularly analyzed the functions of the various subsystems of the APTS in Xi´an in a systematic way. According to the status in Xi´an traffic, it proposed a development strategy and implementation plan about Xi´an APTS.
