Abstract :
In this paper, a new topology discovery algorithm is proposed for Mobile Ad Hoc network and its application is developed on Linux system. With a mixing usage of mobile agents and data collection, the algorithm aims to solve the topology discovery issue in hierarchical Ad Hoc network scenarios instead of flat ones. The algorithm is implemented under Linux system and the test result shows that our algorithm works well.
