Abstract
Knowledge is a very important for an organization to become a smart enterprise. The more precise knowledge, process, technology, and people that contribute in knowledge management, the more competitive advantage the organization would have. This paper proposes a model of KMS design model linking Malcolm Baldrige Criteria for Performance Excellence in it. The knowledge management system generated through a series of stages in the model is expected to not only be able to save the knowledge of the organization, but also to manage the knowledge effectively so that the organization can achieve performance excellence and increase its competitive advantage as a smart enterprise.
