  • Abstract
    Surplus production model is used in estimating maximum sustainable yield and optimum catch per unit effort of marine fishery in Shandong province. The result indicates that Shandong marine fishery resources are facing with severe situation, in order to achieve the sustainable development, Shandong province should strengthen management of marine fishing, protect the marine environment, and establish healthy marine aquaculture systems and so on.
