Abstract :
We demonstrate an optical control of waveguides for THz QCLs. THz QCLs can be modulated by optically induced carrier plasma at the laser facet and pulses of < 100 fs length. In addition, we show an interaction of few cycle THz pulses with quantum cascade heterostructures.
