  • Abstract
The laser intensity modulation method (LIMM) was applied to the investigation of polarization and/or space charge distributions in poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF) and Teflon FEP. The poling procedure was carried out in a small temperature window, ΔT=5 K, and the poling parameters electric field Ep and time tp were varied. In the deconvolution of the LIMM spectra we introduce a new promising spatial grid distribution. For PVDF we have found results in accordance with literature data, the so-called “thermal profile” (near the anode-side). The FEP sample have shown an electric field distribution, which is concentrated near the anode as well as the cathode-side. Therefore, the space charge distribution is located in the middle region of the sample
