Development of a modular linear magnetic gear as a project in the electrical engineering education

The purpose of this paper is to share teaching experience on a basis of a development project. The main purpose of the project is to establish analysis skills as well as practical experience when dealing with electromagnetic design. The project focuses on the design of a modular linear magnetic gear and it is held simultaneously at two universities with a different amount of e-learning involved.
