Abstract
The authors identify a class of unbounded systems evolving on a Banach space X for which necessary and sufficient conditions exist for μ-exponential stabilization under feedback. These conditions are in terms of a decomposition of the spectrum of the homogeneous system and properties of the subsystem corresponding to this decomposition. Applications include Euler operators under perturbation and the temperature profile of a bar with Dirichlet boundary conditions
