Abstract :
Heavy machine is mainly used for large-scale, large parts of the processing, is the country´s headed guard equipment. Heavy machine´s non-normal shutdown will result in significant damage to the enterprise, how to effectively improve the maintenance of machine, maintain a normal and stable heavy machine urgently needed to study. In this paper, we choose some heavy machine manufacturer´s heavy boring machine as object of study, then collect and process machine failure information, and apply the method of Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to analyze and calculate heavy boring´s risk of failure modes, in accordance with results of the analysis to provide maintenance strategy to improve maintenance effectiveness. this study can be as reference for other studies´ application FMEA on heavy machine.
