Abstract :
This paper describes procedure of optimization of combustion engine control unit´s parameters. The procedure uses the programmable ECU unit DTA, the knocking detection unit Gizzmo and hydrodynamic engine brake unit SF 902. The combustion engine, used for control and measurement, is from the SKODA/VW Company. The engine unit has volume of 1385ccm and originates from the SKODA Fabia car.
