Abstract :
The teaching quality has been one of the main focuses in universities, and the evaluation from the students is an indispensable part. Benefiting from the previous experience of teaching evaluation index systems, this paper did research based on information entropy and student satisfaction; defined student satisfaction on the viewpoint of service quality definition; established a rating scale consisting of 5 fist-class indexes, 20 second-class indexes ; took industrial engineering profession of Nanchang University for example, by conducting cluster sampling, and using the entropy analysis to determine the weight of each index. The results show that, according to the method, students´ satisfaction matches the fact which proves that this method in the evaluation of student satisfaction and in the field of teaching evaluation is scientific and feasible. In conclusion, based on the weights obtained in the analysis, some constructive comments were put forward in favor of teaching professional development and improving the teaching quality.
