Abstract
SKOPS-an inexpensive computer access system for physically disabled persons. This paper illustrates the variability of specialized concept switches and intelligent software precision for human-computer communication. Experiments indicate that SKOPS provides the basis for an adequate input interaction device, supplementing the need of both keyboard and a pointing device with a single access key. Being very versatile the system is applicable for persons who cannot use a hand-operated mouse, including those who are experiencing soreness in their hand or wrist to those who have no hand function at all. It can also be used for many virtual reality system as well as video games and entertainment.
