Abstract
One of the key issues involved in generating global-scale land cover maps from remote sensing data is the discarding of useless or redundant information. The decision tree offers a promising approach to extraction of meaningful features from large measurement spaces. This research examines the performance of several classifiers on subsets of features produced via decision trees
