Abstract :
In this paper, first, the calculation method of input- output weight distribution of terminated convolutional codes is shown. Next, it is shown that generalized weight distribution can be obtained since the constraint length is two or three. Furthermore, some analytical results of terminated convolutional codes are shown as function of the number of information symbols, and application for error performance evaluation is demonstrated.
