  • Abstract
    The AFDX (Avionics Full DupleX Switched Ethernet) network simulation is an effective tool for AFDX network technology and performance research. Based on the established AFDX end system, switch and virtual link simulation models, the AFDX network simulation system is implemented on NS2 (Network Simulation 2) network simulation platform. The key algorithm of each simulation model is designed in detail. A typical simulation example of the AFDX network system is given. The AFDX network end-to-end delay and jitter are analyzed and the AFDX performance is verified through the simulation.
