Abstract
A real time technique to get strip-map SAR interferograms and coherence maps with common Unix Workstations is presented. For the ERS mission, the “real time” throughput corresponds to approximately 1/8 of PRF: e.g. ~4 min for processing a 100×100 km image pair. The proposed algorithm achieves that goal on a medium cost 160 Mflops/s Unix Workstation. The output is a 5 looks averaged interferogram, with a geometric resolution of 50×50 m
