Abstract :
In 1987, Cangellaris, Lin, and Mei proposed the time-domain finite element method as a promising numerical approach to simulating electromagnetic radiation and scattering phenomena. In this paper, we provide a brief overview of the recent progress in the development of the time-domain finite element method at the University of Illinois.
