Abstract
Asymptotic stability independent of delay of linear delay differential systems with noncommensurate delays is studied using n -D state-space models. An n -D Lyapunov equation is proposed for such systems. Sufficient conditions for asymptotic stability independent of delay are obtained in terms of the proposed n -D Lyapunov equation using the strictly continuous bounded real lemma, and necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of positive definite solutions are derived
