On Legal Issues of the Internet-Based Digital Copyrights

In the virtual space of internet, social subjects minimize the cost of accessing information. There is a new means of communication for the works protected by the traditional copyright system and the accession to the original cultural products is also changed in a great extant. While the further developments of the information technology make the existing balance of interests changed, which triggers off the problems such as fair use, freedom of expression, protection of privacy, etc. All in all, some measures must be taken to resolve the problems in the dimension of the rule of law, the digital rights management(DRM).
