Abstract :
A new quick-look method for the simulation of spaceborne SAR (synthetic aperture radar) system based on the accurate geometric model and R-D location model is proposed. The output of this method is the sketch image of SAR data only with position information that has the difference from traditional simulation with image processing. The advantage of this method is the low computational complexity relative to image algorithm. The proposed method could be easily applied and obtains approximate position precision. It is an effective complementarity for SAR simulation.
