Abstract :
In this work, we declare the new challenge on the synchronization of multipoint to multipoint communication systems based on OFDMA and analyze the effect of timing misalignment on OFDMA mesh networks. In the presence of timing misalignment between multiple pairs, appropriate receiver-side timing adjustment scheme at the receiver is introduced, and new data detection schemes are proposed to cancel out the inter-symbol interference as well as to mitigate multiple-pair interference (MPI). Simulation results are shown that the proposed interference mitigation and data detection schemes effectively eliminate the interference as well as compensate the distortion caused by timing misalignment between multiple pairs on wireless OFDMA mesh networks.
