Abstract :
The selection and extraction of characteristics item is an important part of the web filtering features sets constructed. This paper presents a method of feature extraction based on information gain which can construct the query feature library effectively during on study of web filtering in vector space model. Test results show that this method is superior to traditional one in feature extraction, and improved the accuracy of the web filtering, reduced the computational complexity effectively.
