  • Abstract
Linear state feedback, under certain conditions, can interact with the ignored nonlinearities in a way that may result in unacceptable patterns of behavior of the closed-loop system. For example, the linear state feedback may create new equilibrium positions, thereby changing the global stability of the controlled system. The linear frequencies of the closed-loop system may be commensurable, thereby creating complicated responses
