Abstract
We propose the use of a dual FM chirp pulse as a transmitted signal to measure Doppler velocity in addition to reflection amplitude. Moreover, in order to measure a lower and instantaneous velocity, we propose the multiplexed dual-chirp signals method. However,. by this method, the compressed waveform is inferior to that obtained by transmitting an original dual-FM chirp pulse having no multiplexing. Therefore, in this paper, we propose an improvement method for solving this problem. The effectiveness of our proposed method is confirmed through experiments.
