Abstract
The performance of new electrically small antenna elements made of wires, namely, 3D-circular, rectangular and triangular Koch dipoles and folded dipoles are introduced. A Yagi arrangement consisting of such elements together is considered. The radiation properties are considered including input impedance and VSWR as functions of frequency. Also the resonant frequencies and their corresponding radiation resistance, quality factor Q, antenna gain and radiation patterns are presented. From the simulated results, the proposed antenna elements radiated elliptically polarized waves in both sense.
