Abstract :
A parametric transfer function matrix (TFM) model is derived analytically for a single tray rectifier and stripping section column. These two capacitances, together with the accumulator and rectifier, yield a fourth-order TFM intended to approximate, for control-system-design purposes, the dynamics of long multitray columns
