Abstract
This paper proposes a novel ZVT inverter with simplified auxiliary circuit. Each phase of the proposed topology uses one auxiliary switch, so there are only three auxiliary switches in the three-phase ZVT inverter structure. The proposed topology allows the zero-voltage turn-on of all main switches, as well as the zero-current turn-off of all auxiliary switches. In addition, this topology uses the minimum-loss SVM scheme without any modification. The simulation, loss analysis, and experimental results show that the proposed ZVT topology achieves the simplification of the auxiliary circuit while maintaining the same level of performance as existing three-phase ZVT inverters with six auxiliary switches
