Abstract :
Scene matching and object correlation, using a Vander Lugt optical correlator, has recently been found to be very attractive to high-speed image-processing systems. The results of ongoing research concerned with the development and operation of a three-plane optical correlator using spatial light modulators to inject binary-phase-only filter masks into the Fourier plane of the system are presented
