Abstract :
The concept of virtual instrument was introduced, and the realizing process of the signal generator are studied from hardware and software aspects in detail. In the hardware aspect, USB chip and CPLD, memory, D/A are discussed. Finally the firmware programming, driver programming, and application programming were described in detail.
