Abstract
It is an effective method to improve the resolution of target range profile by fusing signals of multiple radars with different carrier frequencies. Aiming at the coherent compensation problem of multi-band radar signal fusion imaging, we propose a new data-based coherent compensation method, compensating for lack of mutual coherence among different radars. Compared with the existing model-based coherent compensation method, modelling of individual bands is not needed in the proposed method. Therefore the algorithm is simplified and the precision of phase parameters estimation is improved because of eliminating the modeling error. Both theoretical analysis and simulation results show that the proposed scheme is superior to the original one under fusion imaging. Moreover, it has nicer anti-noise capability.
