Abstract :
Monitor AGC plays key role in thickness control of hot strip rolling. Because of time delay, time variation of parameter, and load disturbance, conventional method can not control thickness quality effectively. The paper proposes a method based on Smith´s prediction and expert controller, which has good control effect in field application, can improve thickness precision.
