Abstract
The Internet of Things is considered as the third wave of information industry which follows the computer, internet and mobile communication. It has attracted the increasing and extensive attention because of the widely prospects for industrial applications. This paper introduces the definition of the Internet of Things at first, then analyses the architecture of the system and introduces the key technologies, mainly including Radio Frequency Identification technology, Sensor technology, network communication technology and Cloud Computing technology. Finally we provide a briefly description to the application fields of the Internet of Things.
