Abstract :
This paper presents a method based on the localized Radon Transform for detecting ship wakes in SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) images. The method is applied to real SAR images, and the result shows that the detection accuracy is satisfactory in strong noise environment. The algorithm is also robust in detecting and localizing linear features that are much shorter than the image size.
