  • Abstract
    In this paper, a structure of nonlinear photonic crystal microring resonator (PC-MRR) has been analyzed by the finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method and its optical bistability for different input signals have been derived. It has been shown that bistability threshold of PC-MRR is related to the speed of variation of input signal.
