Abstract
There´s a general view that with governance of board, poor performance will lead to CEO´s turnover, but will this relationship change over the corporate life-cycle, this paper is to investigate the impact of life-cycle on performance-turnover relation. Samples are selected from Shenzhen Stock Exchange listed companies during period 2009-2011, the regression results show that as corporation matures the sensitivity of CEO turnover to poor performance will decrease.
