Abstract
A novel method of speckle suppression for SAR image based on the curvelet transform is presented. A Bayesian shrinkage factor is derived to shrink the curvelet coefficients, then the mean filter and the nonlinear anisotropic diffusion are used to deal with the reconstructed image. Experimental results show that the proposed method can effectively suppress the speckle while keep the edge and other details.
