Abstract
We have examined the space and time dependent residual radioactivities induced by the neutrons in the TFTR coil coolant for DT operation. A system of nodal equations describing the changes in the radionuclide concentration throughout the entire coolant flow network was constructed and solved to derive the dose equivalent rate of exposure. The results indicate that an unrestricted access to the basement and pump area can be made only after at least 2 minutes of cooling after a full power discharge
