Abstract :
A modified parallel realization for switched capacitor filters is presented. Error analysis is performed on this realization for four second-order filter types (lowpass, highpass, bandpass, and band-reject) with various pole locations. It is shown that the modified parallel realization presented can be made superior, in general, to the cascade realization when the proper criteria are met
