Abstract
A DC motor speed regulating without speed sensor driven by TRIAC is proposed. The motor speed is transferred to phase width with a converter. The mathematic model of PID is established. And the action factors of PID are autotuned online according to the relationship between speed and phase width. Experiments show that the improved autotuning PID control enhances the stability of the motor speed in a wide speed range.
