Abstract :
China´s networks and railways develop rapidly, which urgently requires mobile Internet access. However there exist challenges on network integration of access schemes, on network applications of the transition period, on high cost of all-coverage access, on high bit error rate, on frequent interruption, and on traffic explosion. The proposed multi-homing hierarchy DTN-based train mobile Internet access scheme adopts multi mobile router and multi-homing architecture with DTN/SCTP/NEMO+ MIPv6 protocols, combined with network cache, and can directly support network mobility. Based on predictability of train path and DTN custody transfer, DTN routing, resource allocation, pre-fetching and services-interruption handling tactics were designed, for achieving hierarchical transmission according to utility priority. A typical scenario simulation results show that just 10% coverage WiFi with cellular network can provide primary services, which shows the scheme eases the bottleneck, can be flexibly applied to various environments, and have robustness.
