Abstract :
This paper presents an object oriented approach to modeling in circuit simulation. The device is an object. The device type is a class. The generic branch is its base class, which provides most of the functions needed to implement a model. The approach results in a significant advantage by reducing the programming effort required to install new models and new simulation algorithms in the simulator
